Boss Lady Spotlight: Trudy Innes
At Armoire, we’re casting a spotlight on some of the notable, powerful boss ladies in our community, and what being a boss lady means to them. Read on to learn all about Armoire member, Trudy Innes.

Who she is:
This is me on a professional day. I left the 15-member firm I was an equity partner with and started my own law firm and mediation practice in January 2018. I employ two other fabulous women, Jan and Crystal (L-R below), and together with Wyatt Earp (the grumpy office dog), we help people with family law litigation, family mediations, construction disputes, and equine law.

In Her Free Time:
When I’m not working, my bonus daughter (I don’t like the title “step”) and I compete my horses in eventing (horsey triathlons) in the Southeast. My current partner is Fergus, a 6-year-old ex-racehorse (brown horse below), while Alissa competes my 19-year-old Percheron cross, Easy (white horse & little kid).
Wyatt the dog travels with us and routinely chases squirrels.
