At Armoire, we’re casting a spotlight on some of the notable, powerful boss ladies in our community, and what being a boss lady means to them. Read on to learn all about Armoire member, Labdhi Vora.
Who she is:
I am Labdhi Vora. I live in Seattle. A quote from Coco Chanel “A girl should be two things – Classy and Fabulous” exactly portrays me. I am an ambitious, dauntless and versatile girl from India. I am a student and recently completed my master’s in Luxury Brand and Fashion Management. An avid interest and expertise in Latin ballroom dance styles that have not only supplemented my dance interests but the attire that goes with it as well. Apart from dancing, I love to play the piano and am always eager to travel and see more of the world – with its melting pot cultures that form an infinite source of trends – past, present, and future.
How she’s redefining the boss lady:
A woman works not only for the money but also to be independent, to learn and develop, to gain a different perspective on things/situations in life and to maintain a healthy relationship with her family.
What she wishes she had known 10 years ago:
I wish I knew that I was creative.
