At Armoire, we’re casting a spotlight on some of the notable, powerful boss ladies in our community, and what being a boss lady means to them. Read on to learn all about Armoire member, Rebecca Lovell.
Who she is:
I serve as Director, Create33; Instructor, University of Washington Foster School of Business; mentor at Techstars; and board chair of the Center for American Entrepreneurship.
How she’s redefining the boss lady:
For me, being a woman at work (in my case, in a tech startup) means being my authentic self, expressing my own particular brand of femininity, and refusing to blend in when I can stand out. Finding my own voice, encouraging other women to do so, and urging womxn and allies to amplify each other’s voices is part of what motivates me as a #bosslady.
