3 Ways to Add Spring Pastels to Your Wardrobe
Pastels can feel a bit childish, but these color hues are no longer claimed by nurseries and children. Pastel colors are perfect for spring, and can add a much needed subtle pop of color to any look.
Keep in mind, with your Armoire membership, you can experiment with all the colors to pair with your existing favorites. As a bonus, maintain tidiness by renting your clothes instead of buying new for spring. With a rotating closet, always have new colors in your wardrobe.
Read on for a few quick tips on playing with pastels as spring progresses. Renting is an easy way to step out of your comfort zone and try styles you wouldn’t typically buy!
1. More Monochromatic
Pastel head-to-toe is a playful, yet clean look. To dress down a lilac or blush blazer and pants, for a meeting or the office, wear with a white t-shirt or white sneakers. This tones down the look, while still making a statement in any room.

2. With Neutrals
You can’t go wrong with pairing white with pastels. Try pastel jeans with a white top, or a pastel dress with a beige overcoat. This looks is great for work or happy hour, keeping it clean and casual. If you’re only up for pastels part-time, try wearing a pastel coat while keeping the rest of your look neutral.

3. Color Mixing
Color blocking pastels can be a blast. Choose extra soft combinations; pale powder blue, light yellow, and muted lilac — and layer them together. Not sure which colors to pair together? Google “color wheel” and pair colors together that lie directly across from one another!
